140929 – Deadlifts, Box Jumps

Hey Fitness Friends,

have I mentioned I dislike couplets? This was not fun! I’m usually ok on Box Jumps, but this workout really took the juice out of me.

Strength:
1) 3RM Clean (with 3-sec Pause each rep (just above the knee)
2) 12min Alternating EMOM of 4 Strict Press + 4 Push Press with 50/30 kg and on odd 15 Goblet Squats with 24/16 kg

Workout of the Day:
13 minute AMRAP of
Cash In: 800m Run
12 Deadlifts 80/60 kg
24 Box Jumps 24″/20″

Our Results:
1) K hit 50 kg and I hit 70 kg
2) K did it Rx. I did it Rx, but only did 3 rounds
WOD: K finished 2 rounds and 8 Deadlifts. I finished 2 rounds and 12 Box Jumps
